Who we are
These terms apply to services provided by Autopilot, a sole trader based in Exmouth, Devon, UK ("we", "us"), to any business or individual that engages us ("you", the "client"). By booking a review call, accepting a quote, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We design and build AI automations and assistants for small businesses - for example, enquiry handling, lead follow-up, invoice chasing and review requests. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and price for your project will be set out in a written quote or proposal, which forms part of the agreement between us alongside these terms.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Setup fees are payable before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Ongoing monthly fees are billed in advance and cover the support and hosting described in your agreement.
Payment
Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to pause work or suspend an automation if payment is significantly overdue, after reasonable notice.
Cancellation
You may cancel a monthly service at any time with 30 days' written notice; you remain liable for fees up to the end of that notice period. Setup fees for work already carried out are non-refundable. We'll always try to be reasonable if your circumstances change - get in touch and we'll talk it through.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, and any necessary access to your systems (e.g. website, email, booking tools) needed to deliver the work. Delays caused by missing input on your side may affect agreed timelines.
Intellectual property
Once paid in full, you own the specific automation, configuration and content we build for you. We retain ownership of our own underlying tools, templates and methods, which we may reuse for other clients.
Third-party services
Automations we build may rely on third-party platforms (e.g. AI providers, hosting, messaging or CRM tools). Those providers have their own terms and pricing, and are not under our control. We'll flag any ongoing third-party costs before you're committed to them.
Confidentiality
We'll treat any non-public information you share with us as confidential, and won't disclose it to third parties except where needed to deliver the agreed work or as required by law.
Liability
We'll deliver our services with reasonable skill and care, but we don't guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. a particular increase in leads or bookings). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
