What data we collect
This website does not use forms, sign-ups or accounts. We only collect personal data when you contact us directly, for example by:
- Emailing us (your email address, name if given, and the contents of your message)
- Calling or texting us (your phone number and any details you share)
If you go on to become a client, we'll collect the further details needed to deliver the agreed work (e.g. business name, billing details, and access to systems you ask us to automate). We'll always be clear at the time about what we need and why.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a small entry in local storage that remembers you've seen the cookie notice - this isn't shared with anyone and contains no personal data.
Our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data - such as IP address and request logs - for security and performance purposes, as is standard for any website. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry
- To deliver, invoice and support work you've engaged us for
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We rely on legitimate interests (responding to enquiries), contract (delivering agreed work) and legal obligation (accounting records) as our lawful bases for processing. We never sell your data or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
Sharing your data
We don't sell or rent personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run the business (e.g. hosting, email, accounting software), only to the extent needed, and only under terms that protect your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client and financial records are kept for as long as required by UK tax law (currently at least 6 years).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@autopilotnow.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
